At Jerrabomberra High School, we encourage sustainable travel to support a greener future. Students can choose from active travel options such as walking, cycling, scooting, or taking the bus to school.

Active Travel

The footpath surrounding our school is a shared walking and cycling path, making active travel safe and accessible. Students are encouraged to cycle, scoot, or skate to school using this connected route.

Driving and parking

To ensure safety and smooth traffic flow, we ask parents and carers to follow these guidelines:

  • Lexcen Avenue (cul-de-sac off Environa Drive) – Drop-off only (no parking) between 8:00–9:30 am and 2:30–4:30 pm. This operates as a ‘kiss and drop’ zone.
  • Alternative drop-off/pick-up location – David Madew Oval car park (off Bayside Ct) provides ample parking for families.

Please do not:

  • Drop students on Environa Drive
  • Use the JHS bus bay for drop-off or pick-up
  • Enter the staff car park for drop-off or collection
